Love riding this bike all over the place!
Picked this bike up for my son and he loves it!
This bike is great I customized it with some Haro legends rims, dia-compe brakes etc .. it's awesome!
The bike came quick to Phoenix, at my door in 2 or 3 days. I've been eyeing the framed stuff for a while and decided to pull the trigger on the judgement 29 which isn't matte black it is most definitely a gloss finish, maybe a semi gloss, 60% if I had to guess. The wheels are machined walls and look like mountain or road bike wheels, not BMX wheels, and the handle bars are small for the bike with poorly screen printed lettering.
I'm being as objective as possible here to provide information that might help someone debating a purchase, including the size of the bars, they look like they came off an 18" kids bike. Shit like this was probably an easy choice by the company to to keep cost down for production and end users. Bars are the first change any bike I buy receives so it's not an issue, the wheels look good and perform as expected just not what I expected, but I like my tires skinny so it's most likely going to work well with a pair of 700/38 tires but they came with some meaty Kenda's that fit well.
The seat is a keeper and the tektro brakes are no joke, those things will stop on a nickel a quarter a penny and a dime and in the meantime whaaaaat? Black sheep on wax kids do your homework.
This bike is aluminum and extremely lightweight for it's size, if you like an aluminum frame this is one to check out and if you can't tell the difference or never really cared either way about the important features of a bike then you'll just appreciate the fact when you realize how heavy your current piece of shit is in comparison. The crankset is tubular, and I believe 4130 so leave them alone, the gearing is probably 2:1 18/36 I can't remember which means it didn't call for attention which means it worked so I didn't log any mental notes. I also change gearing on all my bikes regularly for whatever riding I'm getting into and that's perfect cruising altitude, esp for a 46 year old has been shared coming from the world of planks on wheels and snow that never had interest in BMX, it was over there there with roller blades honestly. So anyway, composite platform pedals aren't my thing but I'm a fool because every BMX company makes them for a reason right? Post is adequate and 27.2, I would have liked to see a 25.4 but it's me again with my opinion and the stem is another take it or leave it part that is a perfect top load that looks right and performs as it should once you get done changing bars.
I hope none of that made any sense to anyone except the guy that read it and was like "I get this guy, I'm buying one" and in that case marketing department you're welcome. Im available for freelance work, design work too if you want me to head up that dept and do something about the help needed, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
It's not a Scot Ent. Bike and it's less than $300. It's a sick bike that with minimal effort will fit your personals and have you shredding with a smile. If you like fun and being cool for not following the gen pop and not wasting money on trivial nonsense you're gonna be ok over here I promise.
This bike shreds! I bought a Plaintiff 29 instead of other brands after shopping around for a while. Had it assembled by my LBS and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve seen some videos on YouTube that deride some of the stock aspects of the bike, but overall it’s awesome and I might choose to upgrade based on personal preference but it’s a great, solid and FUN bike as is.
It's my second 29er plaintiff all around nicest bike for the price.
very great bike, one of the back breaks came misaligned a little bit but anything could have happened. i heard that i was supposed to come with a toolkit but it wasn’t there.people forget it’s alright. besides that really good bike. i recommend. i am 5’10 220 holds me easily.
I love this bike. Had some part’s around from another build just to make it mine.
Also owning a 'BigRipper' I can tell you this one's lighter & easier to wheelie.......... good tires!!
I can say my only complaint would be this is the first time I'm plantiff instead of the defendant
I got this to add a Singlespeed to my quiver, and for all around riding, singletrack, bike path and in my semi for some after work shenanigans. A+ on all counts. It was a bargain too!
Before I bought I was kinda skeptical but after HOURS of searching i found it's the cheapest, best option your gonna find for 29ers but when it showed up it blew my expectations. I was able to put it together in ab 30 mins and put a lil air in it and it was riding smooth. Its held up so far and I'm not easy on bikes and I would've torn up my old bike today so I would say that's a good bike in my book.
The bike is absolutely amazing. Light weight and solid. The rear hub came in loose but the staff is working to remedy the issue. Great bike.
Well, .. it arrived, on time, with the box in great condition.
Went together easily.
The front wheel is slightly warped but not all together a game changer. I can probably have a bike shop true it up.
I ordered the Plantiff 29 matte black. ... and received a high gloss black.
I didnt see a contact number listed under customer service, so .... I wite it here.
So, the color isn't what I ordered but I must say , ill keep it!
Overall, the first day, and it rides pretty good.
I am 65 yrs old and ride the local sidewalks and paved trails in Florida. I haven't riden a bike for more years than I can count, and hope to enjoy this bike for a long time.
Its a beautiful bike.
Mike, Lakeland Fl.
I loved my bike I've been going on the BMX ride outs, wheelie wednesdays, etc... with the SE riders SE, GT, all other brands and my FRAMED Twenty9er had kept up no problem until recently it developed a CRACKLING noise believed to be the BB this is the third one but this time that was not the problem ....... My pride and joy (FRAMED Twenty9er) FAILED completely the frame craked the weld behind the seat post tube just Failed.
I've told many times that was going to happen, that FRAMED bikes crack, I always replied that any bike under extreme conditions may crack but MY FRAMED Twenty9er FAILED and CRACKED under regular use I am 50 years old, 145 lbs and do not do any extreme riding BUT my FRAMED frame just BROKE from one day to the next..... Disappointment HUGE Disappointment
good bike tubes aren’t the best when they are made from the manufacture
I am very please with my purchase. I ordered online and it was shipped within a couple days. Not much longer after that I received my bike! Well built and just what I was looking for.
Love it so far, feels right for my size.
I bought this bike for my 13yr son. He’s a tall kid and it fits him perfectly. He loves it
I love these bikes, I will be ordering a new one soon. Come check out some of our builds on I.G.
Got it in a short time and it's going to be fun it ride its my 2nd time buying from them.
The front rim was out of round and the front brake kept rubbing so I had to remove the front brake. Other than that it’s fine.
Love it... surprised at the weight ...customized it ...would definitely recommend it to my 80s BMX lovers...can't wait for my next day off
Bike is solid very smooth ride I put 22 miles on it every Thursday. Very happy with it thanks
This is a perfect bike for a teen! We bought this bike for our son’s 13th birthday. He’s 5’9”, fits him perfectly. He loves it!
