Solid ride, super-light, very easy to assemble. Brakes a bit squeaky but I’m hoping they work themselves out. I find the ride on par with the higher end Mongoose Argus ST, with slightly better components on the Framed Minnesota. Wish I would have paid a little less for it, but hoping it holds up out here in fat bike country, NM

This bike has been awesome, quick shipping, good components, sturdy. Great for just about anything except dedicated road riding. I've had it in snow, on ice, single track, gravel trails and its handled everything great. Gearing it super low and let's you climb some pretty gnarly slopes. Only weird thing is the hardware that came holding the brake rotors on. Half were torx head and half were allen. Not sure why but I'll swap them out to all the same.

Every thing was great except I except I got 3 flat rear tires! I increased tire pressure to 30 psi. that solved the flats!

I like my fat bike very much and hope to get many hours of use from it. I'm glad I found your site on the web because I would have probably purchased a bike from a big box store and who knows what I would be getting. This fat bike is built very well and should serve my needs nicely. At 72 years old I won't be doing any dirt jumping or rock gardens any time soon.
Always keep riding,
Eddie

Bought one for my wife's birthday present. She loves it. Perfect for the loose sandy soil or occasional snow we get around here where we run our dogs. The top tube is on the short side making for a more upright riding position that she finds really comfortable.
We're both really happy with it.

Prompt shipment, very good quality, no brake or shifter adjustments needed, fun to ride, inexpensive relative to other similar bikes.

I only bought the frame from FRAMED website and it was awesome. I built it from the ground up. Lots of best goodies I put on these beast. It weighs only 25 lbs.

I bought this bike for winter riding. So, I immediately put on my studded tires. After riding in the snow and ice, I think this is a great bike. The range of gears was appropriate. It is light and responsive and kept me in a vertical position over some very sketch terrain.

This fat bike is excellent for the price ... Shipping was really quick .. took me 20 min to put it together .. components are pretty good so far.. I just had my friend try mine he just bought one.. I wish they offered accessories like a cheap front fork, studded tires etc ..Would highly recommend..

The only problem was the Dreiler was not big enough for the gear ratio on the cassette how to replace the derailer

During a time of limited availability for bikes and bike parts, I was glad to find this affordable alternative. Had the good fortune to ride our local fat bike trails during a brief window of perfect snow conditions. What a blast.

I had to pop in again to give a major thumbs up to Framed Customer Service. They are clearly slammed, and I began to worry when I got no contact from them for a while on a couple of issues. When the finally had time, they were super understanding and even sent me compensation for a couple of parts I had to replace. I'm going to troubleshoot the issue here and report back to them, which shows they're interested in making things right, and that's awesome. My lengthy first review stands: You need to bring this to a *good* shop to have it set up (esp hubs adjusted) or be capable of doing that yourself, but if you are, you'll be pleased with this bike, esp at the price point. Dollars-to-smiles ratio is super.

I love my fat bike framed. Mine only weighs 28 lbs with lots of nice components.

Bike arrived quickly and partially assembled. Easy to put the rest together, and I'm no bike tech! Have been on a few rides already and it is performing perfectly!! A friend recommended Framed Minnesota and I have thanked him profusely for the solid suggestion!

Love it! Great bike for the money

I'm very happy with my new Framed Minnesota! Assembled and tuned the bike in less than an hour. I've put about 250 miles so far and no issues. The bike is capable and adding some studs makes it even better.

I bought the bike to ride gravel and Sandy trails I SW Florida. So far it has performed well on gravel, sand, and wetlands.

This bike rules! Its super fun to ride. My only complaint is that the tubes are a little cheap. I ran over the tiniest thorn and my tire immediately went flat. Purchased some more durable tubes and it hasnt been a problem since.

I purchased the Minnesota for my boyfriend as entry level fat tire….he loves it!! He wants to ride constantly!!!

These bikes looked like a pretty good value for folks just starting to fatbike, and looking for something that can handle snow plus sandy trails and (hopefully) light trail downhills. I was glad to see they offered a bike tall enough for gangly, 6'3" types.
To Framed's credit, they shipping these quickly and I got good updates on their status, although the shipment was split and the latter two arrived a couple days after the first. They were well packaged and protected to survive the journey.
The build does not disappoint much, but it needs a couple improvements in QC to shine. The bike comes well finished. However, there are several shortcomings that need to be addressed, and IMO, many of these would be completely missed by most bike shops. The flaws I address below were consistent across 3 bikes.
1) First thing isn't a flaw, but it's must-have pre-flight tuning: ADJUST the hub cones properly! They come very tight (every bare hub I buy, even higher-end Shimano, comes this way, and I have bought bikes from high-end shops that weren't adjusted either, so this is just a thing that needs doing.) Remember that proper cup/cone QR adjustment means there's a tiny bit of play in the axle before you clamp it up, and that play disappears when you tighten the QR. This will take some time, but get it right or you'll destroy the new wheels.
2) The front brake mount on the fork, lower hole, is slightly misaligned / proud to the inboard side, meaning the brake caliper washers will foul the rotor! (Same problem on 3 of 3 forks.) Sanding back the lower ISO mount hole and/or careful bending it outboard about 1.5mm will remedy this.
3) The rotors all come warped. Just a bit, but enough to either make a consistent noise or force you to pull the pads so far off the rotor that brake response will be too slow. You will need to true them after you set up the BB5s. Clean fingers worked on 4/6. Had to use a clean adjustable wrench on 1. Put a white piece of paper behind the rotor to see by, work slowly, and you'll get it.
4) The derailleur hangers on all 3 were slightly out of parallel from the wheel/cassette. You'll need a derailleur hanger measuring/adjusting tool to get this right or shifting may be wonky.
5) Framed may not send you the specced derailleur. They put an RD-M4120 on one of the 3 bikes, rather than the higher-end RD-M6000 specced on the bike. They will not tell you about this before hand.
5) The Sunrace cassettes specced on the bike were replaced with cheaper knockoff SunSHINE cassettes on 2 of the 3 bikes we bought. I am usually just fine with bargain parts, but these are sub-standard cassettes, with measurable spacer width differences between the cogs, in addition to burs on the teeth, all of which indicates bad QC by the manufacturer. **The result is very poor shifting performance on those 2 bikes.** (We have 20 bikes on the floor and these are the only 2 that cannot be made to shift consistently.) Shifting performance is fine when I swap the sunshine with the Sunrace cassette. Measuring the cog gaps on that cassette proves them very consistent, so it is definitely the Sunshine cassette that's the problem. I'm not sure why they're not using the promised Sunrace cassettes, as these are widely available for purchase online, suggesting inventory is not a problem.
6) Low-quality cable housing may be an issue. On one of the bikes, the housing for the derailleur under the seat was kinked or otherwise compromised internally, creating significant friction in the cable run. Replacing the housing with new (and higher quality Jagwire) housing took care of that problem.
I will finish with more praise. This is a fun bike to ride. It pedals a lot lighter than the spec sheet weight, and it rolls through mud, snow, sand with ease, and does just fine on the level of singletrack gnarl on the trail network near our place. Just be aware that there's a definite build checklist that goes beyond what many busy shops will consider for a setup.

Great bike & priced right

Well there’s good and bad. The good is when I bought my first framed fat bike in 2016 it was awesome. Loved it perfect bike for the price. So that broke so I decided to order new one before Xmas. I ordered a large (20in ) but when I received it , it was a medium . I tried for two weeks emailing and trying to call. Called during the live time hours even. Sat on phone listening to elevator music for hour. No answer. Emailed no response. I understand that you might be under staffed. But a email acknowledging that you received my email I would’ve been happy but nothing. So instead of packing it back up I decided to sell it and ended up going with another brand. Your bikes are very good but customer service could use some work. Sorry for the rant. Have a blessed day.

Great product, fast free shipping. My only complaint would be I did not receive the multi purpose bike tool to put the bike together.

I am liking trying fatbiking out this winter. The one thing that I don't like is that this bike has toe overlap for both myself at 5'9" and a friend at 5'5". I wish it had shorter cranks. Other then that I am liking it.

This is the second Framed Fat bike I have bought. Great bike for the money, HOWEVER, both bikes I have had to spend a large amount of time tuning the disc brakes (truing rotors with adjustable wrench as well) to be useable and tighten all bolts. There is minimal QA on the build. Components are good. You won't be disappointed.... aside from likely not having a ridable bike out of the box.

Helpful website. Good customer service by phone. Shipping to a local bike store for assembly went quickly and smoothly. LOVE the feel of the bike!!!

Have had the bike out for a few modest rides. Love it-rides much lighter than it looks. Will definitely be my Baja ride!

Fast shipping easy to build. Good quality, nice components. Lots of fun to build and ride with my son!

Awesome ride up here in SE AK

The bike met or exceeded All my expectations. The ride is smooth on all types of terrain. Upon closer examination, the quality of the parts and construction are clearly evident. I would definitely recommend your products to my friends. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the buying experience; from the online store through delivery, all the way to my first ride. Good job.

Bought this to ride in the snow but it hasn’t showed up yet, so riding on trails for now and I’m loving it !

This is really a great ride for the money. It is not a novelty bike, like many that lurk at or below below this price point, and really does encourage you to go ride. It will go anywhere a mountain bike will go and then keep going further, there is a gear selection for every situation. Decent, durable components (so far) and a nice finish. One observation is that I am 5'10" and change, and I feel I am at the upper limit of fit on the 18" frame. Inseam maybe 32". Overall, well done Framed! Oh yeah, and thanks for included mini-tool!

Added this bike to my stable of road, gravel, and full sus mtb. Have been on Zwift for two years and would much rather ride outdoors in winter. I was actually very impressed with the weight of the bike and this was before I swapped out bars, brakes, seatpost, seat, pedal (tires on the way) with items I already had in my garage. Adding some carbon touches really put the bike in a happy place. The DEORE 1x system is such a good choice, so smooth and dependable. I have about 100 miles on the bike in this first month and I am absolutely enjoying every minute riding. Bike drivetrain rides as smoothly and quietly as my highest end Orbea mtb. Also, I ordered it on a Sunday and it showed up on 3 days later!

I have now had this Frame Minnesota Fat bike for over a month. The bike has been fantastic to this point. Shipped quickly to my home. Took very little time for initial setup, (less than an hr with some Brake and tire pressure adjustments) with a bit more time getting all the adjustments to be as comfortable/correct for trails as my Hybrid bike for street etc. I have to say the Fat bike is my favorite bike at this point. @58 I find it better exercise and just flat out fun, stable, and this thing goes anywhere. I have not had the chance to head out on snow yet but sand, grass, pavement to get to the trails has been great. Support has fielded a few questions thru Facebook and has been very good.
Thanks Framed for such a great bike for me to enter the Fat bike experience!
Cheers,
Ken

Better than brand new and all its components are awesome!
