The fat bike that started it all, the Minnesota, got a facelift. We ditched the SRAM X5 1x9 drivetrain and upgraded to a Shimano Deore M6000 wide range 1x10 drivetrain. The precision of Shimano index shifting combined with a wide range 11-42 cassette and 28 tooth front chainring gives you all the gearing needed to climb up steep hills and punch it down the other side. We kept the simplicity of the 135 front and 170 rear quick release axles to make tube and tire changes tool-free and easy on the fly. The tried and true 6061 alloy frame and fork keep weight down while not sacrificing durability. The unique geometry of this frame puts the rider in a comfortable position while mobility may be limited by layers of warm clothing. Warranty
Every Framed Alloy Bike frame comes with a 1 year warranty. All components have a 1 year warranty, tires are excluded. The warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship, including manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover any damages or defects caused by abuse, accidents or other incidents that are not the result of normal use of the product. See manufacturer warranty for more information. All complete bikes are sold and delivered partially assembled. Final assembly and an overall check of the bike must be completed by a qualified bike technician. Failure to have the bike assembled and checked by a qualified technician may void the warranty and could result in damage and/or injury if not assembled correctly.

The bike is a total blast. It does exactly what I want it do, nothing more, but nothing less. No, it will not keep up with your friends' Beargreases or Farleys, but it will get you out on those winter fat bike trails! And it will do so in extremely fun fashion and with next to zero maintenance required. For the price, the Minnesota is a home run. The hubs did need to be loosened a bit, but besides that, it's been flawless out of the box. For someone in Michigan who realistically will only be able to ride winter fat bike trails a month or so out of the year (way less this year ), the Minnesota is perfect. With the stock wheels, tires, and running tubes, I run around 5 psi and that seems to be the sweet spot.

This bike! It’s amazing! It’s so lite & colorful, I get compliments on it every time I ride it! I ride it every day since I bought it. My cannondale I bought in the summer is so heavy & it isn’t a smooth ride at all. But this Frame bike is amazing! It’s easy to pick up with one hand, I go on all the trails without any problems, plus it allows for add ons like lights & water bottle holder. I added the font & back mud flaps which help keep the mud & any debris from ridding back up on me from the front & back. It just looks bad ass & stops people in their tracks so they can take a moment to check out my bike! The customer service is also very dependable & they responded back within 24 hours with a few questions I had. I HIGHLY recommend this bike for anyone looking for a dependable & stylish bike! I am 5’9”, I weigh 130lbs, the color of my bike is like green! I LOVE MY BIKE!!!!! I also own 2 cannondales & now this one, but will be purchasing bikes from here instead since after this one I just bought! I also ride on snow & dirt or paved roads & this bike has never let me down!

Our family of 3 already has 3 of the Framed Minnesota's with the 2021-2 livery. We leave them at the cabin for snow riding in winter and sandy trail riding in summer, but that means we were missing them back home. The wife and daughter convinced me we needed the same thing back here, so we made another order with the recent sale. These bikes handle moderate trails just fine, and they're better in mud and sand than traditional mountain bikes. Snow of course, no contest. We ride them in all those conditions and they're great. (Shifting will get stiff at 15 below zero, though.) The Minnesotas this time around were even simpler to set up than last time. However, they do need some attention right out of the gate if you want them to last. First order of business is adjusting the hubs. If you don't know how to do it, get them to someone who does. Hubs right from the factory come too tight (I build wheels frequently, and higher-end Shimanos come the same way.) They need adjustment so they have the right preload so they don't have too much friction -- or too little. The frames seem to be a bit more precise this year. Last year I had to true up the front brake tabs on the bikes. This year, brakes were able to take a setup without any messing with the tabs. The sunSHINE (not sunrace, as specced in the description) had problems last year and needed replacing. (Framed was great about making that happen.) This year, those cassettes shift fine, so the QC from that manufacturer seems to have improved. Do yourself a favor and remove the seat post clamp and put some emery cloth on it to remove cutting burrs and/or paint burrs. Then grease that area before putting the clamp back on. Tap that clamp down flat with a rubber mallet. If you don't, very slight movements when you're in the saddle can turn into clicking noises that sound like bottom-bracket issues! Sound travels in frames sometimes. Cleaning up that seat tube / clamp area and greasing will solve that problem. Derailleurs needed adjustment on all 3 bikes, but that's not unusual. A couple 1/4 turns of a limit screw and then a bit of barrel adjustment to dial in the shifting. One of the shifters this year is dodgy, but that's Shimano's bad, and an easy replacement.

I bought the Minnesota due to it being on sale at a great price. This is my first fat bike. Processing and shipping were fast and there were no issues. The bike was delivered in good condition. One small chip on the frame was the only defect I could find and it wasn’t a big enough deal to contact CS about. I’ve been impressed with the overall package. Despite being inexpensive and having lower end components the bike performs great and I’ve really been enjoying it. I initially thought I’d want to upgrade various parts right away but that hasn’t been necessary. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is new to fat biking and isn’t looking to drop a lot of money right off the bat.

Ok , so I am not related to anyone this company this is my own honest review. This company is amazing Shipping was fast Arrived almost completely assembled all I need to do was attach the front wheel, handle bars, and adjust the brakes This bike shifted like butter right out of the box.
