Great Bike for the money. The 22" fits me well. (6' 2", 35" inseam). I installed the 4.5" Cake eater tires. 120TPI. They measure 4.32" mounted and just barely fit. So far, I found they will rub a little during hard mashing on hill climbs. If it gets worse, I'll trim the outer knobs a bit.

Great bike at this price point. Very happy with it.

In case anyone is thinking about larger tires, Cake eater 4.5 fit. Just barely.
This is a nice bike for the money.

I couldn’t be happier with this bike! Great value with quality components, easy order and prompt delivery to my home. Minimal assembly required, slight adjustments to get to prefect shifting. Great looking bike as well, just what I was hoping for.

Wife got theses as an early Xmas present these bikes are great in the snow (groomed or hard packed) I'm 5'11" and got the 18" frame fits well enough for it's purpose as a fun winter bike. Spouse is 5'4" and got the 16" frame and fits her perfect.

Like others have said I am also happy with this purchase and the bike rides great in the snow. I have made a few common ergonomic modifications like new seat, grips, and pedals, and a more upright stem but otherwise the geometry of the bike is comfortable as I am 6 foot 3. Components are good for the price and the assembly was not hard if you have done any kind of work on your own bike in the past. There was a little bit of a scratch on the rear wheel left side hardware due to shipping as it was sticking out of the box but does not affect the ride. All good otherwise.

The perfect fat bike I was looking for. The bike is amazing, the customer service is outstanding, and I highly recommend purchasing your next bike from Framed!

My first fat tire and I am glad I did it! Different to get used to, but a good different.

You can’t find a better bike for the money. Can’t beat the components on some bikes more than $2000. Bikes works great and came assembled. Customer service was also super nice with all my product questions.

have not had a enough time on it, due to others using it. good news is everyone wants on!
gears are not downshifting quite right, but will give it more time and report.
thank you. J

The build on this bike is phenomenal and it is a great ride! I've been a paved trail rider for over a decade but wanted to get a fat tire to extend the riding season along with the rest of my crew that purchased fat tires. They spent much more on their rides, but you wouldn't know the difference. If you want to enter the fat tire gang like I did, this is the bike for you.

Love this bike, my first fat bike. I have yet to try it out in the Ohio snow but have been riding through a lot of our spring mud. It handles great was easy to put together I did add a Mannitou front suspension fork and I tell you what I float over everything I ride with a huge smile on my face. Great bike that’s all I will have to say

Great bike so far. Great price

Loving the monster truck ride. Wish I could figure out the chatter/tension in the front stem. Can’t yet get rid of the wobble. Next, need a solution for pulling a burley trailer.

Great bike for all season riding. Framed should get with the times and add a dropper post to facilitate better performance and rider confidence when terrain gets a bit technical.
After riding double and single track trails 3 days a week for the month I've owned my LTD the front brake needed realignment twice which is a fairly straight forward procedure.
The rear brake squeals after muddy rides even with fenders on. The tolerances on the caliper settings are extremely tight so expect to make regular adjustments to maintain quiet braking.
The cake eater tires are aggressive enough for any terrain and at proper pressure will provide adequate suspension for a rigid frame.
Good bike for entry level and intermediate riders who don't ask for more than the bike was built for.

Was able to get a couple rides in before the weather warmed and the trails became unrideable. Its definitely a good value, having most of the components I was looking for. The jury is still out for how it compares to another comparable bike I have ridden, but its definitely the best in its price range.

The bike itself is great. Only about 20 miles so far and it is great for my needs. I wanted a winter ride - I commute 20 miles round trip in the "snow region" just south of Erie, PA. It goes through snow, and ice great - partly due to the "bike studs" studs but also because it is a nice setup. I ride recumbent in the fairer weather.
My only complaint, as a commuter, is the bike could use some additional braze-ons for rack and fenders - a must-have for me.
I love how it climbs, rides, and just as importantly how it stops. Would get a 5 star if it had better attachment points.

Only road 4 times seems like a quality bike for the price.

Pretty nice spec bike for the price wish the rear was a little wider to fit wider then 4" tire chain all ready hits the tire.
Dan C.
This bike is hot fun! Rides through the soft deep sand like a pro. Great bike for the money. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a fat bike in this price range.

Great bike for jogging the dog or bikejoring with her. Built like a tank, but light weight for a fat bike.

I've had my eye on a framed fat bike for a few years now. Always contemplated between the basic Minnesota or something more fancy - but being my first fat bike I knew I'd be happy with something simple. When I saw the LTD come along it was perfect. It upgrades all the right things from the regular Minnesota and is still an excellent price. The tubeless compatible rims and tires, and 27.5 wheels were a big selling point for me.
After riding a few times I wish I'd bought a fat bike years ago. Have only done winter riding so far but I'm excited to ride this year round. My three year old fits in his WeeRide seat, although there's a little less space on the top tube than the 26" hardtail that I'm coming from. I've ridden in fresh powder and packed trails. The bike handles all of it extremely well in my opinion. The components and bike itself all seem solid. There's nothing I plan to upgrade right away, or need to upgrade. I don't think you can beat the price point and value of Framed bikes. Now I just need to get my wife one!

This past summer I bought a Minnesota 1.2 used. First time ridding in trails. I enjoyed it very much but sold it in the beginning of winter. It was a bit to big for me. Decided to buy the Minnesota LTD in my size. Love it! First season ridding in the snow. I really like the tire size 27.5 x 4. I like the larger handlebars. The only thing I have changed is the pedals and the grips. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought this bike with the hopes of being able to ride more in New England winters. So far it's done everything I hoped it would do. There was some damage to the bike during shipping and customer service went beyond my expectations to fix the issue. Great company!

First ride in the snow today - what a blast! Sweet bike, great components, nothing missing with this one.

This bike is well worth the money! It climbs hills effortlessly and is super stable. Perfect winter machine. Can't wait to try it on the beach this summer!

Fat biking is awesome! This bike is great overall, great gearing, brakes, tubeless-ready and nice looking blue-gray frame. However I immediately realized I need a dropper for any trail fat biking and this bike did not have internal routing options, and I had to drill out a bottle cage bolt in the frame to fit a dropper. It would have been nice if this was dropper ready, or better yet if I had the option to purchase it with a dropper on day 1! I've upgraded the seat to something more lady friendly, and some cushier grips and this gal is ready to go! Also, an option for 4.8 tires at time of purchase would have been nice, apparently that's what I'm going to need for snow riding.
Chris S.
Very happy with the Minnesota LTD after my first few rides. It seems like a great bike and handled the snow and ice in Michigan well. I picked up tire studs and they were relatively easy to add. The studdable tires were a great bonus. They made studded tires a $50 upgrade instead of a $300 expense on top of the purchase price.
The components are amazing for a bike in this price range. This is my first new bike in a while, and the SLX components were a nice treat. The Dual Release shifters are great and helped me a lot while shifting on rough terrain. The derailleur took a little adjusting to get the lowest gears to shift and ride cleanly. I am not sure if that is due to the designed chain angle on the bike, or the assembly tech at my LBS. The pedals it comes with are huge, but I think they fit the fat bike well. I was able to easily hop on with my heavy winter boots when things got slushy.
The geometry of the bike is nice, and was easy to ride coming from an older 26" mountain bike. I am 6' and debated between the 18 and 20" sizes. I purchased the 20" and it fits well with a good amount of standover clearance with out having too long a reach. The bike is long and just barely fits in the 6' bed of my truck with the gate up, but feels nimble enough while riding.
The only thing that was a little funny is that my local bike shop went to do a tubeless setup but said the rims a drilled for Schrader. Schrader tubeless valves are available, but not very common. I also have never seen a Schrader fat bike tube, so that seems like a strange choice.
I had my local bike shop do unboxing and assembly. They noticed a small amount of paint/frame damage and Framed Bikes worked with me on a solution I was happy with.
Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would 100% get another if I had to do it over again.
John
Ordered on a Thursday afternoon and delivered to my house by Saturday morning! Simple assembly and was out riding. Love the components and the 1x12 gear range, as well as the hydro brakes and thru-axles. Fantastic quality and service especially for the price!!!
