Great bike for my 8 year old. It fits him well now and it will last him several years. Speedy shipping and easy to assemble for a rookie like me. I am very pleased with the overall quality of the bike. Thank you!

In these post pandemic times where supply chain issues are causing bicycle shortages everywhere, Framed bikes had a better spec at a lower price built well and shipped free in stock bike for my budding 8 year old ripper. The bike came mostly assembled, the final assembly was very quick and easy and only requires the most basic tools (all of which are included). I couldn’t be more thrilled. Similarly spec’s bikes from other brands are generally double the price. For my eight year old I did need to make some small adjustments, because of her size I changed the stock stem to a 40mm stem to bring the bars a little closer to the seat. I also put the stack on top of the fork to drop the bars down as low as they would go for her. The bike in this configuration fits her perfectly!, it would have been nice to spec it like this for her directly from Framed bikes. I love the 2.6” tires that are spec’s on the bike I may change them to 3” for more of a mid fat as she grows (again it would be nice to spec this on the order). The only thing I found a little disappointing are the pedals, even as small as my daughters 8 year old feet are, the pedals are undersized and do not provide adequate grip for actual mountain biking adventures, her feet frequently slip off during navigation of challenging terrain. All and all you guys knocked it out of the park and I sing your praises often to anyone who will listen.

Everything is pretty good, but has play in bar stem

He loves it! It’s a little big for him but he is fairly experienced. We went for a family ride and did 23 miles as his first ride!

Great bike for my 9 year old for her introduction mtb bike. It has disc brakes, a good 9 speed transmission with no grip shift, also simple with the 1x setup. Suspension is ok, could be lighter with an air fork and help bump sensitivity at her weight of only 50lbs but for price its great. And tires are nice an wide at 2.6" width. We did change to a 35mm stem and cut down the fork about an inch. Re did it with white cabling an white PC pedals. And nice soft wolftooth razor grips in grey for softness for longer rides. Brake levers had to be adjusted closer to her hands for reach as they were just to far away. Was no problem though as the levers have a adjustment screw to bring them in to desired spot. Fork will be upgraded down the road to lighten up. Overall for the price this bike has a great value and works great for her right out of the box. Just did 10 miles an she loved it.

I researched this purchase pretty extensive. I was attracted to the bike because it was manufactured in Minnesota and had a very good reputation. It was purchased as a Christmas present for my 11-year-old grandson who lives in Teton Village in Jackson Wyoming. My Son in Law has friends who are very active in cycling, and they were all impressed with the quality of the bike and components. He did get to ride it a little before they got 4 feet of snow and is very excited for spring

I wish the brakes were smaller. The levers are pretty far off the handle bars for a kid to reach. The handle bars seem a bit skinny. Not bad but slightly narrow.
The rest is great. Would buy again.

Bought the bike as a Christmas gift for my 7-year-old son. He is about 50 in and weighs 60 lbs. The bike will be a little big on him, but his 20-in is already looking a little small. I've only ridden the bike around briefly, but I would compare the build quality to a seven or $800 entry level adult bike. I did a lot of research and compared this bike to the big name manufacturers 24 inch bikes. This bike just gives you more, plan and simple, at a lower price point. The bike had the most travel by a considerable amount on the front fork. It was the only bike I found in this price range with the cable routing in the frame, looks very clean. Tires are a little beefy, which makes it a bit heavier, but I know my son will love the look. Stem and seat post are just as good quality as the adult entry level bikes. Single derailleur drive train is where you want to be and seems to shift well. I'm sure he'll enjoy this bike for the next several years and I see it having excellent resale.

Great bike for my almost 8 year old. Our first Framedbike, and very impressed with the quality and crafstmanship! Even came put together! We fully expected to be building a bike Christmas Eve, so that was a nice surprise.

The bike itself is fantastic and I would rate it 5 stars. It's a great build with some really nice touches you don't normally see in more entry level MTBs. However, I knocked off 1 star for the following two reasons: I think it could be packed just a bit better for shipping, as mine arrived with a few minor scratches. Also, I don't know if this is industry-standard or not, but I was completely turned off to see that the warranty is void if you don't have a bike shop assemble it.

I like the bike. I wish there was some instructions re assembly. No real problem with assembly. It would be nice to include a kick stand. The company is easy to deal with

Bike is great, my son was held up with an ankle injury so he hasn’t ridden it yet. But the bar and stem height are to high. I’ll have to cut the steer tube and put a shorter stem, and bar with less rise for it to fit him ok.

We bought this for our son’s 7th birthday and he was thrilled when he saw it because it looks just like Dad’s bike, with disc brakes and a suspension fork. The overall look and quality of the bike is decent and the components are perfect for a kid’s bike. Assembly was pretty easy and the shifting worked perfect right out of the box. Fortunately I’m a decent amateur bike mechanic because the brakes needed to be dialed in a little for safe stopping. The bike is a little on the heavy side, but the low gearing makes it easy to pedal up hills and the big tires get the job done through the roots and rocks. The extra weight translates to a little more durability over what I’ve seen in other kids bikes. The best news is that he can now negotiate many of the easy to intermediate trails that I ride locally on a fun, safe bike that looks cool.
