Hilo Carbon Adventure Bike 27.5

This bike is a very good option to be a jack-of-all-trades as said in the description. I've had it for two months now and find the seat doesn't need immediately replaced, I can ride it 15 miles with little discomfort. This is my entry bike into the world of quality bikes for me and I love it, it has a comfortable position and came with an adjustable stem to help find your comfort, and the tires are perfect for not wearing fast on pavement but enough on the edges to give confidence in dirt. There's only two things I'm not a fan of but is definitely not a deal breaker. The first is the head angle, it's a little sensitive with significant speed, but otherwise negligible. The second is with the Alivio groupset. The crank derailer is made for either 2 or 3 sprocket, and I found out you can accidentally still shift to the 3rd chainring even though there isn't one. This stretched something and now I have to be in the deleted gear to stay on the large chainring now, so that sucks. All in all if you want to try a more than a Walmart bike this is a great choice because you get a carbon frame, disk brakes, tubeless ready wheels and otherwise decent components without paying over $1k. I've found the frame alone selling on third party sites for $600 alone so there's that. I really enjoy the bike minus Shimano cheaping out, and will keep the frame and upgrade the components as I get more into cycling because it's the perfect gateway bike for me. Sorry for the long review, but I saw there was no others I'd try to be thorough.
