One way we delivered on these promises was by inserting 27.5 inch wheels and tires where 26 inch wheels once existed. By increasing the tire diameter, rollover momentum increases substantially. The contact patch is narrowed and lengthened which creates better tracking and less self-steer. The redesigned tubing of the Alaskan Carbon increases power transfer while retaining compliance. This is most beneficial during root-ripping, white knuckle, singletrack missions. We achieved all this while keeping the integrity of the fat bike model. Winter rides through the snow have never been so fun. A unique routing system with access at the bottom bracket enables full length shifter housing making maintenance a breeze.
